The 3rd of oktober a space "unconference" will be held at ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. An unconference is like a conference without any formal programme. You announce a presentation or workshop at the day itself. The idea is to promote spont…

Edwin Wisse replied to Michele Bavaro's discussion beidou codes higher than 30
"Thanks Jason, that explains the difference in start-up time and location stability. Every restart of your firmware is in fact a warm start. I didn't know that.
I did have the impression that your firmware resulted in a more stable solution. But that…"

Edwin Wisse replied to Kiprono's discussion NavSPark Mini
"The navspark mini does not support raw data. The raw data receiver mentioned on the blog is another product entirely (and not available at the moment).
This is just what i understand from the blog. I don't have the mini myself (yet). Mine is somewhe…"

"Your firmware really performs remarkably better than the stuff i write in the arduino environment. Which is puzzling because i don't configure any strange setting. My little program does little more than show some numbers on a lcd and store location…"

Edwin Wisse replied to Michele Bavaro's discussion beidou codes higher than 30
"The firmware works fine. It can see 34 at this moment.
I noticed how stable the location solution of this firmware is compared to my own. I do not see anything special in the configuration other than the lower baudrate for the serial connection. You…"

"Are they sending out a Beidou-2 BPSK modulated signal at all? <a href="http://gpsworld.com/first-signals-of-beidou-phase-3-acquired-at-isp... article in GPS World suggests there is some "legacy signal" next to the BOC encoded signals</a> but it d…"

"Thanks for clearing that up. I ordered an internal GPS/Glonass antenna with the freebie mini (together with some other stuff). I hope i can still change it to a GPS/Beidou internal antenna.
Just noticed you have a 6-pack of receivers on offer now. "

Checked the soldering. Looks ok to me (ugly, but no short circuiting blobs of solder between…"

Edwin Wisse replied to Ingmar Guillaume's discussion Supporting Arduino 1.6.x through user hardware and tools directories
"Installation of the navspark files was pretty easy.
Just compiled a sketch on the standard arduino 1.6.5 editor. Works great on windows. I can test on Linux too later.
Jason, many thanks for your efforts!"
